After the first edition of the quarterly newsletter of the LATAWAMA project, published last February, the second edition is now available. This constitutes a pristine channel to share with you the progression of the Lake Tanganyika Water Management Project, jointly implemented by the Belgian Development Agency and Lake Tanganyika Authority. That project is funded by the European Union. From Bujumbura, where the drying beds of the Buterere sewage plant undergo rehabilitation, toward Kigoma city where the beneficiaries attest the impact of the project, and then to Mpulungu and Uvira, where the actions to be implemented are consensually identified; through this second edition, you will get first hand, the great moment of the project’s implementation.
